England's national team faces Croatia in a crucial UEFA Nations League match on Saturday, with manager Thomas Tuchel making tough selection decisions. The game, set to take place in Rijeka, will see England aiming for a second consecutive win in the tournament. The squad includes several key players from Manchester City, but two stars are set to be axed from the lineup. Jude Bellingham is expected to feature, however, as Tuchel weighs the impact of club commitments on team performance.
The match is part of the 2026/27 Nations League, with England currently ranked third in betting odds behind Spain and France. The game will also feature a notable clash between England captain Harry Kane and Croatia's veteran Luka Modric. The match has drawn attention due to the personal lives of some players, including a Premier League star married to a blonde athlete compared to pop icon Shakira.
This Nations League encounter comes after England's recent success against Croatia, having won five of the last seven meetings, including a victory at the 2026 World Cup qualifier. Tuchel has also expressed concerns about the club situation affecting his players, though he remains open to selecting them if Manchester City is relegated to the Championship. The match will be broadcast live, with details available for both TV and streaming platforms.
