A 20-year-old co-pilot was identified as the victim of a fatal Learjet 60 crash in Palm Beach County, Florida. The pilot, Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, was among nine people on board when the aircraft crashed on 1 November 2025. The plane was en route from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas.

The co-pilot was named by family members after the crash. She was heard screaming “We’re out of time” in the final moments before the crash. Her final words were captured on the distress call. A six-word text message sent to her boyfriend before the flight was also revealed.

The Learjet, registered to a Delaware-based LLC, nosedived and crashed suddenly. The crash occurred during a routine flight. The aircraft’s registration details were confirmed by authorities.

Nathalia earned her pilot’s licence at 17. She was still in high school when she obtained the licence. Her family confirmed her identity following the crash. The incident has raised questions about the flight’s circumstances.

This is the second fatal crash involving a Learjet 60 in Florida this year. The crash site is under investigation. No official cause has been released. The family has not commented publicly.
